InBody 270S Highlights
Collapsible design
The InBody 270S is designed for the traveling professional. It is portable and therefore easy to transport but just as accurate as any other InBody model. Whether you are a nutritionist moving from practice to practice or personal trainer working in various gyms, the InBody 270S is the perfect match for you.
No estimates
InBody does not use estimates of gender or age in its calculations. By looking only at impedance, we can get the most accurate body composition results. There is no need to use empirical equations or statistical data.
Nutritional Assessment
Nutritional Assessment provides comprehensive assessments of protein, minerals and body fat to ensure nutritional requirements for optimal health are met. By providing insight into these parameters, it enables users to make informed dietary choices. This in-depth analysis makes it easy to achieve a balanced diet and monitor progress towards health goals.
Cell Integrity – Phase Angle
The human body consists of 36 trillion cells and understanding the health of these cells is crucial to overall wellbeing. Phase angle is an important parameter in assessing cell health and overall physiological status. It reflects the relationship between the resistance in total body water and the reactance in the cell membrane. A higher phase angle indicates better cell membrane integrity and balanced water content, indicating healthier cells. Finally, the addition of Whole Body Phase Angle history allows users to intuitively track and monitor their health trends over time.
Sarcopenia review
Sarcopenia, identified by the WHO with diagnosis code M62.84, is recognised as a disease rather than a natural phenomenon. It can be easily assessed and evaluated using the Skeletal Muscle Mass Index (SMI)* and handgrip strength** to provide a comprehensive assessment and personalised advice.
*Skeletal muscle mass index (SMI) is calculated by taking the sum of the appendicular muscle mass (in kilograms) and dividing it by the square of the person’s height (in metres). **Hand grip strength is available when connected to the InBody Hand Grip Dymamometer (IB-HGS, optional).
